Another chorus of disapproval of police chases as yet another miscreant barrels into a tree.
In this instance we are told there was no chase. Two police vehicles made U-turns on observing a speeding ute which, on each occasion, had sped out of sight by the time they were facing the right direction.
The answer is obvious … get every last policeman inside their station so that there is no risk that a foolish youngster will be frightened into dangerous antisocial behaviour.
Oh, and we need to ban security sensors as well because it’s well-known that panicked people can get hurt.
