Just selecting Nick D’Arcy brings Swimming Australia into disrepute.
Isn’t the other guy the one whose olympic hopes were dashed in a hit run accident?
Or fell off his skate board?
Do taxpayers subsidise these jerks?
and pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space
A quick scan of the letters to the Sydney Morning Herald shows that my dismay at the selection of Nick D’Arcy for the olympic swimming team is shared by others.
You can read them here – Olympic selectors displaying ethical bankruptcy .
Should taxpayer funds be thrown at this guy? Are we that desperate for a medal?
If you agree with me let Swimming Australia know. Give’em a ring or drop’em a line …

Mr D’Arcy gets to represent Australia at the olympics.
Do we really need a convicted thug that subsequently avoids compensating his victim representing us?
Swimming Australia is morally bankrupt to even countenance it.
The latest chapter in the Nick D’Arcy saga is D’Arcy declaring bankruptcy, in a move that will see him avoid having to fork out the $180,000 he was ordered to pay Simon Cowley in a civil suit hearing earlier this year.
