Major General Neville McBryde Donohue …

Some people are just not comfortable in their own skin, they just have to be someone else …Donohue-2

… whether it be the very model of a modern major-general or a cousin of Kim Jong Il (better cousin than uncle).

He was due in court last week but, as was explained in a letter from the Alfred Hospital, he was busy dying of terminal cancer. According to the Herald Sun the signature on the letter is not one the hospital is familiar with.

The ANZMI website tells us that …

We are reliably advised by ex members of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals (RA Sigs) that the “General” is in fact ex Serviceman 313847 Corporal Neville McBryde Donohue from the Kilsyth area of Victoria. He served in the Australian Army between 1970 and 1976 and was never deployed to any Operational Areas.

I’m sure we all wish him a speedy recovery …

As a youngster going to court for the first time … to give evidence … I was given the advice, “Dress up, stand up, speak up.” I guess this guy was, too. I wonder how it will help his cause …

WASHINGTON — A New Jersey resident showed up in full Nazi uniform to a local court on Monday, charging that his political beliefs cannot legally be held against him as he fights to secure visitation rights to his son.

The father, Heath Campbell, named his children Adolf Hitler, Aryan Nation, Honzlynn and Heinrich Hons. Heinrich was taken into custody by social services in 2011, and Campbell is fighting for access.

He arrived at the court house in head-to-toe Nazi regalia, matching the swastika tattoo on his neck.

Drunk Woman Steals Ferry, Says Shes Jack Sparrow
Alison Whelan, a 51-year-old woman, had been drinking for two days near a harbor in Devon, England last September. It got so bad that she called emergency services and said that she was having a seizure.

Paramedics arrived to find Whelan and her friend, Tristam Locke, aboard a 45-foot passenger ferry. When they attempted to board the boat, Whelan and Locke became violent, so paramedics backed off, deciding to wait for the police to show up.

Soon after, Whelan began untying the ferry, causing to drift away. Witnesses say that they heard her shouting “I’m a pirate” and “I’m Jack Sparrow.” Apparently she was not only drunk, but was eating a poisonous hallucinogenic plant. The ferry began crashing into other boats in the harbor and ultimately caused thousands of British pounds worth of damage.

Authorities finally got on the boat about a mile away, arresting both Whelan and Locke. A year later (on Wednesday), Whelan was sentenced to 122 days in prison. Locke, meanwhile, was fined for assaulting the ambulance worker.

Just thought I’d share that …
