Our Tim …

I had got the notion that all he did was race around in the prime ministerial car but apparently our Tim is passionately working for the cause of mens’ health.

To that end he has composed a racy little advertising jingle …

If you have to get it checked
Don’t be glum
Get a little Asian girl
To poke you in the bum.

I’ve got just the lady for him.

Greens leader Christine Milne thought it tasteless. Shows the importance of keeping your fingers out of your mouth.

Nicola Roxon will be delivering us from all of this by making it illegal to offend anyone, although the government will be exempt, I wonder if that exemption extends to the first bloke.

Dirt bags …

From this morning’s AM show on ABC radio …

ALEXANDRA KIRK: A few weeks ago just as Fair Work Australia was finishing its lengthy investigation into the Health Services Union and allegations Craig Thomson misused his union credit cards, AM’s been told a senior advisor in the Prime Minister’s office called a meeting of ministerial staffers, one from each office.

Labor sources say Julia Gillard’s director of strategy, Nick Reece distributed a “to-do” list for gathering information on Coalition frontbenchers starting with their, quote, “younger days”, maiden speeches and ministerial record, study trips and associated travel reports, any companies they might be involved in, fundraising, pecuniary interests, down to, quote, “potential issues” such as litigation.

It was accompanied by a spreadsheet on where to get the information including newspaper opinion pieces, company searches, student newspapers and social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Any one inclined to do the reverse could try the following…

Google search Julia Gillard Bruce Wilson … produced about 39,600 results (0.16 seconds) a few moments ago.

Next Google search Julia Gillard Michael O’Connor affair, the top couple of results are worth a read.

Then Google Julia Gillard Craig Emerson affair … also quite productive.

A search on Tim Mathieson adds to the picture, interesting taste in men. And with at least one thing in common … a peculiar taste in women.

Update. JULIA Gillard has defended “scrutiny” of opposition MPs, saying it “informs the public debate”.

“First and foremost given all the opposition ever says is ‘no’ to everything it’s not surprising people are scrutinising them to try and ascertain if they’re going to ever do anything else than just say ‘no’,” Ms Gillard told ABC radio …

Does Julia never say ‘no’?
